You’re Potential
Have you ever thought about a peanut? And the life of that little guy? It must be very rough on the peanut to go through all that it does in order that we might gain from it. Let’s see how the process of a peanuts life starts. We will call this “The Potential of the Peanut” The peanut start as a seed; it has to be planted in the dirt, ewe dirt? Yuck, sure am glad we people didn’t start that way…Or did we? Hmmmmm Ok back to the peanut.
The ground has to be plowed up and turned over; this little seed goes in the ground and is watered and looked on and watered again, and cared for. And then one day this seed that was buried has come up out of its dark grave, and sprouts green leaves, and flowers, “how would you like to sprouts flowers?” hehehehe Here is some information I have found for you on the life of a peanut, go right ahead and read it, because then we are going to look at ourselves. It may seem a little more than you want, but it all ties into our lives.
The peanut is unusual because it flowers above the ground, but fruits below the ground. Typical misconceptions of how peanuts grow place them on trees (like walnuts or pecans) or growing as a part of a root, like potatoes. Peanut seeds (kernels) grow into a green oval-leafed plant about 18 inches tall, which develop delicate flowers around the lower portion of the plant.
The flowers pollinate themselves and then lose their petals as the fertilized ovary begins to enlarge. The budding ovary or "peg" grows down away from the plant, forming a small stem, which extends to the soil. The Peanut embryo is in the tip of the peg, which penetrates the soil. The embryo turns horizontal to the soil surface and begins to mature taking the form of peanut. The plant continues to grow and flower, eventually producing some 40 or more mature pods.
From planting to harvesting, the growing cycle takes about four to five months, depending on the type or variety. The peanut is a nitrogen-fixing plant; its roots form a module, which absorb nitrogen from the air and provides enrichment and nutrition to the plant and soils. Now my version: The peanut is harvested and washed then placed in a warehouse for a period of time, and you might say this poor little peanut has been abandoned.
It was left with nothing to eat, or drink, it was left out to dry. Now some peanuts go a step more and produce peanut oil. For this to happen you would place the peanut in water to soak and soften the shell, the shell would be removed, like loosing your cloths, double yuck; then another bath is given so the peanut will lose his inner skin, its flesh has to be removed. Now that we only have the peanuts heart itself, it is ready to be crushed over and over until the oil drips out, and bottled for many purposes. Also these wonder peanuts make yummy peanut butter, so good.
Now, look at your life, can you see any similarities? Have you ever felt alone, abandoned? Washed up and wind up nowhere but some cold dry building in the dark? Well there is good news after the process is over and you have been crushed and proven by the Lord, you are ready to be pour out, just like the peanut oil. How many are ready to be use by the Lord? When I look back on all I have gone through I must have been a suborn peanut, Because life has been very tough, after seeing what the Lord wants from this broken vessel, I have a little more understanding, I pray this excerpt from my book “Life is Tough But Here’ The Answer” helps you as it has me by re-visiting it. It is not published yet, however is at a publisher desk. If you have enjoyed this, then please pray for the Lord’s favor for it to be released. Thank you for your time.

Behold The Lamb
What does it mean to Behold something? Behold means to stare, gaze upon, look, fasten your eyes. God want us to behold Him, to worship Him and praise Him continually. So what would that mean? I believe it mean to place every thought upon Jesus, in everything we do, say of think, for what is in the heart of man will come forth in our outward actions. If we are continually praise God with our hearts, everything else in our lives will follow suit. So what is your life following?
